The Made in Secret DVD Saga

Well, the problem is that our DVD is was supposed to come out last month, but it still hasn’t. And here’s why:

A few weeks ago, we got a call from our replicator saying that the mastering house was having problems with the master disks we sent. We quickly sent off another batch, but they said those had the same mysterious problem. A problem they’d never seen before.

Since then, we’ve been working around the clock, trying to figure out where the problem is coming from. We’ve sent them six different batches of new masters, trying every single thing we could think of, but we still can’t figure out what the problem is.

At this point, we’re looking at hiring a fancy industry professional to come in and rescue our DIY asses. It’s super expensive and a little disheartening, but we feel like we’ve run out of other options.

In the meantime, we’ve set up this blog so that you can check in whenever you want to see our progress and get a sense of how soon our snazzy, feature-filled DVD will be arriving in your mailbox. Mostly, though, we just want everyone to know to that we’re not off on a beach somewhere ordering Mai Tais with your $15.
